Beginner Fun Agility

Suitable for puppies from 6-months onwards

£102 for 6-weeks.

These classes are fun, friendly, and aimed at owners who want to do more with their dogs. It is a great way to keep your dog active, fit and healthy both mentally and physically in a safe and controlled environment.

Our 6-week agility courses are a combination of obedience skills and learning how to negotiate various obstacles safely. The focus is on the fun side of agility and is non-competitive.  
We will: -

• Develop new skills and confidence for you and your dog
• Helps you become a better handler and strengthen your connection with your dog.
• Learn how to give directional cues – both verbal and visual.
• Teach the dog to be confident working away from the handler.
• Learn how your body movement affects your dog.

• Flatwork skills
• Building a training reward system & developing motivation
• Handling Skills
• Body awareness 
• Growing focus through distractions
• Introduction to jumps (using jump bumps) and tunnel work
• Impulse control games

• Send away & Recall Skills

Please note: -

• Dogs need to be socialable around other dogs as they will be working off lead for some of the exercises.
• Only dogs aged 1 yr. or over will be allowed to take part in any jumping exercises.
